A few times a year, Muammar Gaddafi ventured out to the campus of Fateh University in Tripoli to deliver lectures to students in Green Hall, a 450-seat auditorium with a large stage. None of the students or faculty could have guessed what the Saharan madman kept hidden on the first floor of the same building: a love den. “What we found is shocking,” says Faisal Krekshi, 55, the new dean of the university which has now been renamed Tripoli University. “This was Gaddafi’s place. Only he and his people had access to it.”
Behind a set of locked doors there’s a room with a cozy double bed, flowery carpets, and small lamps that casts off a warm orange glow. In an adjoining bathroom there’s a Jacuzzi with water jets. Some faculty members say the dictator brought his mistresses to the room, others ask whether he raped female students there. It gets weirder. A couple of doors down there’s a full gynecological examination room. “There’s a gyne bed—what the hell is it doing in here?” asks Krekshi, an OB/GYN doctor who has worked at the university for 14 years but had no knowledge of the facility. “I think it’s here for illegal abortions.”

Grammy-winning rapper T.I., who was freed after months in prison, was back in federal custody last night - because of a flap over his use of a luxury bus to report to a halfway house, his lawyer said.

Steve Sadow told The Associated Press that the Federal Bureau of Prisons “has moved T.I. to a different facility” because of an issue involving the rapper’s 375-mile (603-kilometer) trip Wednesday from the Arkansas lockup to Atlanta in a gleaming motor coach.

He did not elaborate on the exact nature of the problem federal authorities had, but said it was not drug-related. He said they are trying to resolve the problem.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, travelled with an entourage to check into the halfway house, stepping off the bus clad in a red and blue striped polo shirt and white shorts.

“There appears to be confusion surrounding the method of transportation,” Sadow said.

Traci Billingsley, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, told the AP that she couldn’t comment on the rapper’s status or his immediate whereabouts.

T.I. had initially served about seven months at the prison in 2009 after he was arrested for trying to buy unregistered guns and silencers from undercover federal agents.

He was on probation after he was released and ordered not to commit another crime or to illegally possess any controlled substances.

He was arrested again in September 2010 in Los Angeles on drug charges after authorities said he was found with four ecstasy pills.

He was sentenced in October to 11 months in prison for that violation, and had been set for release at the end of September but was let go early.

The prison agency’s website said late Thursday night that Harris was “in transit” but didn’t say where.

T.I. had left the Forrest City low-security prison and was driven in the bus with dark-coloured windows, followed by four other cars.

“The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!!” the rapper posted
on Twitter shortly after his release. “Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”

It appears a flock of cameras will follow T.I. regardless of where he goes next.

VH1 said Wednesday that the network was filming T.I.’s journey home from jail and would debut the show in December.

MTV aired a similar reality show on the rapper in 2009 called "T.I.’s Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go", which chronicled his attempts to help others avoid his mistakes.

T.I. has also finalized a book deal.

A representative from HarperCollins told AP that T.I. has written a book called “Power & Beauty” that’s set to be released in October. The novel, which was co-written with David Ritz, is a fictional tale about two childhood friends torn apart by dangerous dealings on the streets of Atlanta.

I love Elisabeth Shue, and Jerry O'Connell and I think Steven R. McQueen is cute and hot - and I really enjoyed the piranha movies when I was still a kid. Sadly, the new remake of this franchise, Piranha 3D, just gave me headaches! I don't think the 3D thing helped at all, except make it look like a second-rate Disney attraction. I was not even frightened or tense or felt any sense of dread. Or maybe I'm just a grown up now. The piranhas didn't even look scary at all! Oh well, skip this movie, or just wait till it gets to cable.

I love promoting good things in the world. Today, television and other media mostly just offer clowns. I’m not saying that clowns aren’t good, just that there are so many that the youth is spending more and more time looking at them. If it’s not clowns, it’s ostentatious women. Which is how our youth learn about sex and mediocrity.
One thing that motivates me is my theory that there are levels that man has not yet been able to reach. I want people to prepare and learn for the future that awaits us.
Lately I have a lot of people who in just six months have lost weight. Others tell me they are faster on the track field. I have people who had back pain and now they don’t. The truth is that my theory about exercise has been a miracle for many people, as they describe it on Youtube.

Algo que me motiva hacer lo que hago es mi teoria de que hay niveles que el hombre no ha podido todavia llegar. Yo quiero que la gente se prepare y aprenda para el futuro que nos espera.
Ultimamente tengo mucha gente en solo seis meses ya han bajado de peso. Otros me dicen que ya tienen mas velocidad en su carrera de track field. To stay in shape is very easy for me, yet very difficult at the same time. I exercise every day except Saturday, which is my day of rest. I am a true runner. I train 70 miles or 120 miles a week. Domingo is my longest training day; sometimes I run 25 or 30 miles then. And that’s not counting my routine for abs and stretching.

AI is almost over for the season, and what a yawn fest of a season it has been. I think it is the energy. There is some talent, but they are all about as boring as reading assembly instructions for an Ikea bookshelf. I am hoping for a Lee win, only because I have not enjoying having Crystal shoved down our throats all season. She is good, but she is not great and in any other year she would have gotten the boot weeks ago. Casey should have left before big Mike. Casey has really been less than average the past couple of weeks.

Speaking of AI, I was doing a search of FH and came across these pics of 2008 contestant Luke Menard. I am sure others have noticed it before me, but if Glee is looking to cast a younger brother for Matthew Morrison, Luke is your man!

Although he is one of the most successful guys to come out of AI's auditions, Alan Ritchson's success has come as an actor and model, not as a singer. But...I did enjoy Billboards list of the top 24 money makers who have come off of Idol. There were a few surprises (like the fact Ruben Studdard made the list...) but most are fairly predictable. IRIS" season 2 starts pre-production

Pre-production work for the second season of blockbuster TV series has kicked off amidst much hype and anticipation among fans, according to production company Taewon Entertainment on Tuesday.

Taewon explained in a press release that "IRIS" producers have started the casting process for the next season, even talking with agents for the actors from the first season such as Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee and Kim So-yeon and considering a new face to appear in the series as well.

The first season of "IRIS" garnered much publicity in Korea last year for its huge scale, global location shoots and a star-studded cast, led by Lee and including Jung Joon-ho, Kim Seung-woo, and Choi Seung-hyun, better known as T.O.P. from popular Korean idol group Big Bang.

The drama sparked a frenzy among viewers around the country and dominated weekly TV ratings charts during its two-month run.

It even created a spin-off series titled "Athena: Goddess of War", which Taewon is also producing as of present and is set to be broadcast later in the year. The line-up for "Athena" include top Korean actors Jung Woo-sung, Cha Seung-won, Soo Ae and E Ji-ah.

First season of "IRIS" is set to premiere in Japan tomorrow with noted Japanese actors Fujiwara Tatsuya and Kuroki Meisa providing voice-overs for its two main characters, originally played by Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-hee.

The sequel will pick up from about three years after lead character Hyun-joon was killed by a gunshot while driving in his car and unfold the circumstances surrounding his death.

It will kick off shooting next March and is scheduled to air around October 2011.

Hahaha. No promises, but I'll try?

I have a few reasons why I'm going back though.

Firstly, I missed my dad's birthday last month as I had to work in Singapore preparing for the Blog Awards. I actually got him a present earlier but I had no time to go back before that as well and thus only bringing him his belated birthday present this week. I hope he likes what I bought for him. :)

Next, I do miss my parents (a bit). It's been almost 3 months since I last see them, I think. So yea, it's time to drop by Ipoh to see them. However, I'm very sure the moment I see them, this reason will be nullified and I will wonder what can I do in Ipoh for the rest of 2 days. Lol.

Lastly, there's a distant relative wedding dinner to attend this weekend! Hurray!! I'm damn cheapskate and love wedding dinners. Especially the first 2 courses!! The appetizer usually rocks and sharkfin is no doubt the bomb!!! Muahahaha, attending wedding dinners of relatives are cost efficient, cause your parents pay for angpow instead of you!!! Yea! Yea! Yea!

Okay from these 3 reasons I bet you've deciphered me as someone who prioritized work from family, a not filial son and cheapskate, thick faced guy. I do admit I'm all three but I don't exactly see much wrong in it due to what I've faced in my life. So I beg for you not to judge anyone for what they do in the present as many of us may be touched or shattered to hear what they had gone through.

Two weeks ago, my Ex wrote me:

"I'm not responsible for your reputation. It speaks for itself. You have turned into a bitter bitchy queen. You used to be fun and charming. You have let this competitive edge rule your life and it has damaged your relationships."

I would be lying if I said it didn't profoundly affect me. There have been similar whispers about my attitude from other quarters. Chirps here and there. My stubborn male pride bristles at any suggestion that I'm a douche.

An inner voice seethes and hisses, "master... they are jealous (and squishy!)... don't heed their warnings!" Then there is my heart still heavily guarded and under house arrest. It's the only sane part of me. It pleads, "It's not too late to turn away from the Dark Side! There is still time to heal the hole in your soul!"

The Louisville Trip would provide a perfect test of... Can I get along well with others in a non-competitive environment? On the surface, it was a risky trip filled with potential for great disappointment. Most of the people I was meeting were strictly Facebook friends whom I had never met.

THE TRIP:
I checked into my hotel at the Museum 21 C. It is a posh downtown hotel worthy of a Queen. My room was large with a great view, king sized bed, and a nice bathroom. The turn down service every day was appreciated, because I never had to worry about running out of fresh towels. Everybody knows or should know that I take frequent showers.

On the first day, I met up with owned bud Chad. He has a wonderful sense of humor in both the Facebook world and real world. We ate at a Qdoba Mexican Grill in Bardstown and had good conversation. From there, Chad took me around to see the gorgeous Cherokee Park and Cave Hill Cemetary.

I was passed off to the friendly couple of Chris and Chris (not pictured) where they introduced me to the wonderful chrisandwich. It was quite delicious! We eventually reconnected with Chad and his Daddy Bill, where we ate at the Irish Rover and had drinks at the Q (home bar of the delightful Casey Leek and singing cartwheel legend J.Buttons).

On Friday, Casey and I dueled on the tennis courts. I was whipping his ass in each set, before he would stage amazing comebacks. We ended up splitting our sets 7-6,6-7 and called it a "tie" so neither one of us would pout on the drive back. See... I can sometimes put the greater good ahead of my own blood lust for winning!

It was on Saturday that I would meet SUPER NERD Brian again after a fateful Southern Decadence meeting with his partner Donald a few years ago. Brian has a penchant for embarrassing you with really witty illustrations on your Facebook page:

On Saturday night, I went to a fabulous party with Bill, Chad, and Brian where I met some very friendly Kentucky boys and a WOOFY West Virginian named Alex:

After socializing, drinking, and making mischief, we ended the night at Tryangles and The Connection where I lost track of how many people I slobbered over. Bill and Chad must think I am super slutty when drinking. LOL.

By Sunday, I was totally exhausted and flew back home to Louisiana. Thank you, Louisville for renewing my spirit and teaching me that happiness can exist outside of a tennis court. I look forward to seeing you guys soon... at IML in Chicago. :)
